Our colleague Carlos Leyva from IDENER presents FUDIPO in Turin

MONSOON SPIRE H2020 project organised its final conference as a joint event in Turin last week. The title of this conference was “Digitized Operations for Sustainable Process Industries. A pathway towards industry 4.0”, and some related SPIRE events were invited to present the project objectives and current status.

Thus, our colleague Carlos Leyva from IDENER was invited to briefly present the status on our demonstrators, and also to present a poster in an elevator-pitch session. This conference was a good point for discussions about the digitalisation in industries and future needed actions.

Please, have a look at the poster presented in the dissemination material section of our webpage.

The next joint event will be prepared by FUDIPO and COCOP and will include a session about energy efficiency. We will post more information soon.

New publication in the frame of FUDIPO about pulp and paper study case

Our MDH colleagues Moksadur Rahman Anders Avelin and Konstantinos Kyprianidis have recently made a publication titled “An approach for feedforward model predictive control of Continuous Pulp Digesters” in Processes. You can access to the full paper in the following link:
